I use the palomar for everything except flipping and punching, but out here on the delta I use braid for everything so I feed the line through the loop twice before I complete the knot. Way stronger!!!

Has anyone done a strength test with a regular single strand palomar knot, like in the first video, with braid?
I use 50lb braid, and the single strand regular palomar knot, and I've never broken off in all my years using it.
I have to make myself retie every so often when I'm throwing the same spinnerbait all day, just to play safe.
Braid is amazing!
