Discovery Bay in June

Hello all,
I'm going to be renting a house in Discovery Bay June 6-9th for my bachelor party. I'll be bringing my Stratos 176xt and am looking forward to chasing stripers (and black bass) with lures. I'm thinking I'll throw a lot of large lipless crankbaits and topwater baits like the super spooks and lunker punkers as well as punching mats with beavers and pegged tungsten. If anyone has advice to offer it would be greatly appreciated (near by fishing holes, lures to use, colors, or other patterns to try).
