Make imaging palette stick on power up

I have a Humminbird 561 DI depth finder that always powers up with the Dark Imaging Palette. I prefer the light palette but I haven't found a way to get that setting to stick. I found two places where I can change it from dark to light, but after every power cycle, it reverts back to the dark palette. These are in the X-Press Menu and the Main Menu.

Is there some way to get this to be the default setting on power up?

You are powering down with the power button on the unit. It should save the settings
