My 14 year old MK Maxxum 74 has a steering problem located in the motor control box/head. The plastic bracket located between the retainer tab and cable housing has broken or sheered from the bottom of the MCB. I tried super gluing the plastic and it worked for a few hours.
The cables can still move, but can't hold a direction if there is wind or current.
Is this economically repairable? I figure the plastic housing would have to be replaced at a minimum.
This has been a great TM for me over the years.
Or do I just step up and drop $1k on a new TM?
Thanks
MK Maxxum?

Re: MK Maxxum?
If I understand you post yes it is easily repairable. Bring it to the Hook we are an authorized Minn Kota and Motorguide service and repair station.
