Bass Fishing after Open Heart

Post by Rod Martin »

It has been 2 months after Bypass for me. Thought I would let you guys know. Bass Fishing for me started at 6 weeks after . Started with a split shot rig No hook set and only going out for a couple hrs. Now after 2 months I am back to all day (6 hrs) throwing senkos, spinnerbaits and cranking.
I feel like I did 20 years ago. My passion for fishing has returned and more important my ability to get out and go is back.
In the last 2 years I have replaced 2 knees and had renovation done on my heart and am now fishing again.

I have fished all my life and now should be able to for the rest of it

Any of you that may be going thru or need to have work done. For me it was well worth the risk.

Now I get to replace all the tackle and gear I gave away thinking I would never use it again :D

Which most of you know it almost as much fun as the fishing
