Hello everyone,
Just a note about our next event this Sat. We will be going out Bidwell Marina. Entries can be dropped off at Oroville Outdoors until Fri (12pm), or brought to the trailer up at the parking lot from 4-6pm Friday evening without any late fees.The release boat is ready to go for this one and we are looking forward to our drive by weigh-in up in the parking lot. Allison will be cooking her famous chili for this event so come hungry. As always snack packs will be given out on a first come first served basis, hopefully we don't run out this week. We will of course payback an extra place if we hit 50 boats and as a bonus, if we get 60+ again we will also put an extra $200 in the fish-off fund as well. Sign-ups will begin at 5:15am on Sat morning (please wait for the outside lights to come on before coming in).
Weigh-in will start at 3pm and as always if you require assistance launching please feel free to let us know. After weighing in your days catch, come over to the trailer and have a bowl of chili and check out the New 1/2 ton Dodge Eco-Diesel with all the bells and whistles, from Chuck Patterson Toyota/scion/Dodge in Chico, that's right a half ton Diesel truck, that gets 28+ miles per gallon. Come out and have a great day fishing a fun event.

Just a note to all of the Anglers, I have been getting alot of phone calls about the Tourney this Sat, YES we are still having the event, I know we are supposed to get some wind/rain from this storm but I will not call the event off unless it is detrimental to the safety of the fisherman/women. I will be more than happy to refund anyones entry that chooses not to fish, but as for canceling the event, I cannot make that call until the morning of the actual event. If we have 6 footers(waves) and lightning at the dock prior to blast off then absolutely I will not be sending anyone out. And if something happens were we have to cancel the event(we have not had to do that in my 8yrs as a Director), well we will all be sitting around eating snack packs and Chili in the parking lot....Thank you for all of the teams that come out to support us and as always, feel free to give me a call anytime with questions or concerns.

Thank you to all of you who braved the weather and drove from near and very far just to get here. This was by far the closest I have ever come to canceling an event, but luckily we waited until the morning of and low & behold we had a great day. Once again topping 50 boats, wow…..We had 53 teams come out Saturday for the 2nd event of the 2015 Season. At 5:30am the skies parted and allowed us to almost not even have to use the bullhorn for the blast-off, unfortunately I chickened out and did not use the PA system thinking it could cut loose again any minute, that did not happen and wouldn’t you know it, we had great weather for the entire day which is uncommon for a NorCal90 event(not), hehehe……
In the end the team of Tom Salo/Charles Wooten took home top honors with almost 12lbs garnering them almost $2000 and the First place Chuck Patterson Toyota/Scion/Dodge sponsored Plaques. The 4th place team of Robbie Merwin/Daniel Scism had the days BigFish with a 4+ lb beauty… All in all we paid back over $6400 to the field in cash and added $530 to the fish-off fund as well, the full results are below.Once again Thank you all......

We also had a brand new 2015 Dodge Ram ½ ton Eco-Diesel that gets 28+ miles per gallon parked right up front for everyone to check out while they were enjoying some of Allison’s homemade chili.
