Well
You will launch off Bonds Flat Rd off J-59 at Fleming Meadows ramp. Water is low but a good ramp and facility. Lake got 3 inches of rain and hail yesterday. Primary Forage is shad, craws, and of course Rainbows...

Usually pretty clear and the next wave of spawners should be cruising regardless of April showers. Good places are main lake points leading into spawning bays . We do pretty good around now C-Rigging 6' lizards. Senkos, and twin tail grubs outta be good too. I have not been there as of late but if you are a swimbait guy bring em as the big girls do eat trout.

Green Pumpkin, Watermelon Candy and the classic clear water colors are all good. This lake can be excellent for finesse fishing robo worms and dart heading and slit shotting on light line. Minimal cover mostly red clay and rock canyon lake.

Good Luck!
