After going to the weigh in yesterday I was curious to what boat and motor brands the Elites are using. I found an interesting mix.

Motors:
Mercury 64
Yamaha 38
Evinrude 7
Suzuki 2
Honda 1

Most Common Boat/Motor:
Skeeter/Yamaha 21 All Skeeter's had Yamaha
Nitro/Mercury 16 All Nitro's had Mercury
Ranger/Mercury 14
Triton/Mercury 14
Phoenix/ Mercury 11

not that I am questioning your observation at all but do you know Yamaha owns Skeeter?
my point is you buy a Skeeter, you get a Yamaha, period.

Any Nitro has an exclusive with Mercury. I think it comes down to sponsorship offers for most of 'em.
