Depth Offset will not work on Onix, what am I doing wrong?

The Depth offset will not work on my Onix unit, My depth is almost 2 feet off, when I set the offset per the manual and per the Tech at Humminbird and go back to the 2D sonar screen the depth reading does not change.
I called the Tech’s at Humminbird but all they could suggest is to reset to factory defaults which I did but it did not help.
My unit has the latest software version 2.30.
Is there anything else I could try to get this to work?

I have the same problem, software issue. Did some checking and there should be a software update that will fix the problem by late spring.
