Lowrance Hds 8 gen 2 nmea wiring to an Icom Ic-m302

What wires would I connect my Lowrance Hds 8 gen 2. I'm looking to connect to wires from the Lowrance to an Icom vhf radio with the nmea wires, here are my choices Lowrance: Yellow Tx (+), Blue Tx (-), Orange (Rx+) Green (Rx-), Shield (ground). ICOM Ic-m302 wires: Yellow Nmea in(+), Green Nmea in (-). If this was posted here before, I'm sorry I could'nt find it?

I don't have any experience with the wiring you are asking about so I emailed Lowrance and I pasted their response below. I hope it helps...


Lowrance TX+ yellow to Icom RX+ Yellow
Lowrance Blue TX- to Icom RX- green

The HDS needs the NMEA output turned on, as RS422 and with GLL, GGA and RMC sentences on
