looking for mechanic for Yamaha 225 four stroke

Post by W.C »

I Just need to get a tune up and impeller changed for a 2003 Skeeter with a Yamaha 225 four stroke motor and make sure everything is good on it.
I don't have a clue where to go but would prefer someone in or around Manteca area . Please refer me to someone who WON'T rape me on cost. thanks for any advice , I truly appreciate it.

This isn't in the Manteca modesto area but performance marine in West Sacto is where I get my work done and get parts as well. Tim is the owner and an all around great guy. He wont rape you on the prices and the work will be done right. (916)373-2233

Wright Motors Marine in Lodi ((209)333-7855). Richard is the owner/mechanic. Only works on Evinrude and Yamaha and really knows his stuff. It's been in the family for generations. He is honest and prices are reasonable. Trust me. You'll thank me later.

I may not be current but last I talked to Boatmaster's, they didn't work on Yamahas.

While it's true that BoatMasters is not a Yamaha dealer or warranty center, they can service your boat.
They have the experience and know-how without a doubt. They don't need my plug for business, they are busy all the time but they have worked on my stuff since 1995, most of which have been Evinrude, another brand motor they no longer support "technically speaking" but I would not go anywhere else!
