Gen 3 question

just purchased an hds 9 gen 3 but found out I need an HD transducer but the one that I was sent is the normal 83/200 tranducer. Also I have been told I need the HD SS transducer(LSS2) I have an Hds 8 gen 2 that was the bundle. What do I need to add to get the best picture from my HDS 9 gen 3 ?

The 83/200 transducer you were sent with your HDS Gen 3, is for Broadband Sonar and is the correct transducer for that sonar picture. The LSS-2 HD transducer is to add Structure Scan to your HDS Gen 3. This transducer will plug into the back of the HDS Gen 3. The bundle you got with your HDS Gen 2 8 required the black box module that came with the Key Pad unit and connected to your unit via the Ethernet cable.
