CLEAR LAKE FIRE CHALLENGE TO GIVE

Post by bass12450 »

TIME TO HELP
To all Fisherman & Friends,

Clearlake has always been a great place to fish and enjoy with your family. Well NOW it is time to GIVE back to Clearlake.

We where there when the fire started and have met many of the people that have lost everything, their homes, their cars, their treasured belonging and their pets. Most of them have no where to go and were not able to take anything with them.

This is a time to get together and show them that WE care.

On Sunday we delivered 47 cases of water and some cash to Office of Emergency Services and the local agency that has the office set up a Konotic Casino.

I am challenging all Tracy Bass Members,Fishing Clubs and Tournament Circuit to help. We will be taking a trailer up there on Sunday September 20, with all of the items or cash donated.

Items that are needed are cases of water, drinks, paper products, canned easy to cook food canned or packaged , snacks, personal hygiene items, dog and cat food. Also are socks, t-shirts, underwear, sweat pants and shirts (both children or adult) blankets or bedding items. Do not forget that there are many children that all lost everything and they need your help too.(All items must be new). Anything that you can bring will be helpful.

REMEMBER THEY HAVE NOTHING BUT WHAT THEY LEFT WITH, MANY ARE SLEEPING ON THE GROUND.

The Best Bass Tournaments Trail had a board meeting on Sunday and have already set up a page for donations as well as a spot for donation drop off and a network to pick up any donations. Our 1st load will be headed to Clear Lake Sunday AM. I would invite all anglers BBT or not to come on board. This is not about what circuit you fish or the petty politics that divide us as anglers. We will recognize any organization that wants to come on with us and appreciate any contributions to the cause. A unified effort is needed to effectively assist these people. Please take a moment and take a look at the page.
