Post by McLovin »

So after a friend of mine got done adjusting my screen I have no clock on the screen anymore. Can't figure out how to put it back. It also says it can't find gps.

Your clock can be placed on any page configuration you choose by going to Edit Overlay Data and choosing Time.

As for what your friend did when he "adjusted" your screen. Since I can't be there to go through all the possibilities, the best thing to do is a soft reset of the unit. This will place all the menu settings back to the same as they were from the factory when the unit was new. This will not delete any Waypoints, Routes or Trails you may have saved.

To do a soft reset start with the unit off. Now press down and hold down the Pages key. Next, press the Power key in the normal manner in which you turn on the unit. Keep holding down the Pages key until the unit completes the boot up process. Then let the Pages key go. You will be on the Chart screen. From here go through all the Menus setup changes you want including the Edit Overlay Data. This is where you will choose the Time, Depth, Temp. or Ground Speed for example. You will need to do this for every screen you use. Just because you place Overlay Data on one screen, it doesn't mean that Overlay Data is on every screen.

This is the best chance for the unit to use the Internal GPS antenna to find it's position.

Hope this corrects your issues.
