From WWBT
For the inaugural 2016 WWBT Team Tournament at Lake Oroville, Thanks to all the anglers that came out to Oroville today to support WWBT. It was a great event as Jason Bubier and staff did a great job. We have a few things to tighten up ( mostly paperwork ) as I've said we probably would, but we're already on it. We had a GREAT turn-out for the awards and gave out quite a sum of money. We had 98 boats fish today which was pretty incredible, but we wanted 100 and paid the two entries to get there. So we had two ghost teams that didn't fish.

We had a Ranger Cup winner, 3 Evinrude winners, Yamamoto "Toad of the Day" , Lorwance , P-Line, Yamamoto Baits, and a "Run and Win with Lucas Oil" winner.
Angler Money Collected $29,400 ----- Paid out at the Event $31,500 - Plus $500 to be paid for Ranger Cup

A huge thank you to Jeremy, Gary, Jason and the rest of the Wild West Bass Team. With 98 boats in low water conditions, things went remarkably smoothly.

The added touch of paying for two extra entry fees to make sure the inaugural derby reached 100 boats is nothing less than first class. I had a blast fishing and weighing down a guy whose won more than $50K on that lake with the traditional Gottwals Jinx.

Thankfully he can fish the pro-ams without this banana in his boat as I look forward to helping on the staff side for WWBT.

On to Shasta...
