Ranger Trail service shop

Post by Kentuck »

Need to have my trailer checked out. Hubs throwing grease. First thought it was locked surge brakes but don't hing that's the case now.
I was looking at either Diablo Marine and Trailer or BoatMasters.

Most hydraulic trailer brake places are booked up weeks in advance. I just had my Ranger trailer done at Outdoard Tech in Oakdale 209 847-8012. Richie Rich

This is probably out of your way , but I just had similar issues and took my trailer into Orlandi Trailer in San Jose .
My bearings were shot ( both sides ) and my mastercylinder was completely non-functional .
They kept it a day and now my trailer not only drives much better ( stop and go braking function within the trailer)
but I also purchased an Infrared thermometer ( Amazon = $16.81) to check heat after driving home ( 15 miles ) . The temp on my hubs matched almost perfectly ( 79.2 & 79.8F ) .
Also got an excellent education on how to maintain bearing buddies ( I know , some guys hate these ) .
tight lines ,
Robb
