Looking for the best place to stay in or near Stockton

I'm looking for the best place to stay in or near Stockton.
Looking for a place to park the boat and charge batteries too.
Any info appreciated,

On a serious note, I stay at the Marriott on march lane. It's not the cheapest place, but its in a safe neighborhood, its close to the launch ramp adjacent to ladds, and it is near restaurants. There is enough room on the street there to park a few trucks with boat trailers. If you ask in advance you can get a room at the residence inn that is next to the road so you can see your trailer from your window (about 20ft away). You would even be able to run an extension cord out your window to it if you chose too.

Riverpoint is nice and safe. It is a little more than west delta but if youre going to stay in stockton it is safe for the boat and gear.
