Curado 301E

I got this shimano curado 301E, I had it for about 4 months now, and I've never had a problem with it till now, when I reel to retrieve my line to make another cast the spool spins in reverse till it finds a spot that stops the spool, which is weird cause when it was working fine the spool would stop where I stopped it, now I stop it and it reverses and stops where it wants to? Can someone please let me know what's wrong with it? Did you have a similar problem and how'd you deal with it?

Really hard to say without seeing the reel. Could be one of 2 or 3 things going on. Your reel if only 4 months old is under warranty. See the attached link and send it in and they will take care of it free of charge.

Should this be a reel you purchased "pre-owned" then the warranty would not apply. Timing would be 2-4 weeks either way or you can send it into me and I'd be happy to take care of it for you, 2-3 day turnaround with $27 charge.
