Best pond to bass fish near chico california

Hi I live in Chico California and I was wondering if you know of any bass ponds to fish near me?

Try the big pond, Oroville lake, biggest pond around, after bay is decent too.

Chico has some of the best ponds to fish!

Cal Park is a fantastic pond filled with small bass. there were days i caught 40-50 bass in a few hours. drop shot was always the ticket. Its a great confidence lake. Downside is there is a security guard that that will come up every once and a while and ask you to leave if you are not a resident.

Kohls pond- behind Kohls has big bass. Lots of vegetation and more wood then I have ever seen. I used to drag a small plastic boat down the hill with my trolling motor and fish. Not an easy lake to shore fish from.

Paradise lake has extremely clear water, big bass and very beautiful!

The main river that runs along the outskirts of Chico has lots of fingers that split off. My buddies and I used to find stuff on Google earth or word of mouth and walk the bank fishing for bass. Those fingers are loaded with bass.

Chico has some of the best places to pond fish from shore or out of a plastic boat. Glad you are going to take advantage of it!
