2016 was the fourth year for the Spokane Bass Club and the club has continued to grow each year. This year was a success with many big bags brought to the scales and some good tournaments for the club as whole. We recently had our awards banquet and recognized the top three anglers as well as the biggest largemouth and smallmouth of the year.
Running away with the AOY was Broc Allen who stayed consistent and won to tournaments along the way. He won by nearly 30 points when the maximum one can win at one event is just 40.
Second place was Dan Rice who also had the biggest largemouth of the year. A 6.61lb bass he caught during his win at our night event in August at Newman Lake.
Third Place was John Thrasher who won our final event on Long Lake.
TJ Merrell caught the biggest smallmouth of the year at the last event. It weight 5.49lbs.
