prop for merc and yamaha

Can u use a mercury prop on yamaha? I have a merc hi five prop that was from a 200 efi merc . i now have a150hp 4str yamaha. If the splines line up am i good to go?

Seems to me the Merc High 5 was a performance prop and probably not a good match for a 4 stroke outboard even if it fits . You should contact Yamaha and ask about this to be sure .
