Who will make the decision to close the Delta to boating?
How can we find out what's going on?

Re: Delta closure
My guess would be the Coast Guard...that should be a good place to start asking, anyway

Re: Delta closure
Interesting to see if some tournaments will be postponed. Seems like the risk factor is at a high level with cresting levees, wakes and logs.

Re: Delta closure
Thanks. I can't imagine any Delta boaters would want to chance these conditions on plane. Too much debris, and the wakes would cause too much damage.Stratos278 wrote:My guess would be the Coast Guard...that should be a good place to start asking, anyway

I'm surprised by some of the pictures I've seen how high the water is, that that haven't closed it or put a 5mph restriction. I can't imagine what one of those cruisers that throw a 3 foot wake would do.
