The 5MPH for 1/4 mile is not as bad as it sounds. I did the math and 3 minutes of 5MPH = 1/4 Mile.

Just so everyone knows, at our event last weekend, the Sherriff explained that you can run through the Narrows/Braitos Point down to Rattlesnake Area as long as you stay in the middle of the channel. If you want to cross over to the Mid Lake/South Lake side (between the islands) you must come off pad and IDLE SPEED(not a no wake zone) between them 1/4 mile from each side, then you can run all the way down to Red Bud area. Just remember if you are with in 1/4 mile of shore (about 440 yds) to IDLE.... Good Luck to All in the Chamber Event, I hope you all have a great time and the fishing is great for all..
The only sport besides golf that you can only blame yourself !!!

Call Clearlake outdoors and ask Troy. He will know when it's lifted but I'm sure it will be posted here.

Fished out of my kayak on Sat. during the Chamber tourney. Every single boat that I saw launch or come into a spot was observing the idle limit. I fished around Nice.

In a kayak I usually get the red headed step child treatment from boaters but Sat was probably some of the most curteous boaters I have encountered. What's happening to you guys?
