I like the Rebarb hook but for thick cover I move up in size of bait and hook to an EWG gamakatsu worm hook.

Check out some of the Daiichi hooks... been using for years and never had a problem with bending or breaking.
I use both the drop shot and octopus with no fails... been very pleased with them.. sharp and strong.. get the job done.

Owner rig-n-hooks are stout. The sizing seems a little different than other ewg type hooks, so don't go by the size number.

Go to a 2.0 EWG for 4" and a 3.0 EWG for 6" and Tex-pos rig it for heavy cover

I use a 5/0 ewg or a wacky rig hook with the weed guard.
