So far Disappointment Slough hasn't disappointed. Here's my brother Joe with yesterday's catch and release. Top water action is picking up, definitely Good times!

Beautiful fish.

I couldn't get them to go on top yesterday but I did find a bunch of bed fish. The females were way too spooky but the bucks bit quickly.

Most of the top water action was toward the evening but, we did have one or two blow ups early. Haven't tried bed fishing yet but, I'm sure it will work out next time. Thanks brother!

How do you spot the difference between a male and female?

I have exceptional eye sight....

I always assume that the smaller fish guarding the beds are males. The bigger ones, female.
