Personel Best are fun. It gives you something to strive for and to look forward to. Sometimes catching a really big fish, while fun takes away the thrill of the hunt and the thought of ever besting it.
Its a nice catch. enjoy it and look forward to your next PB .

and yes it is a big deal :D

Solid fish for sure. There's something special about catching a big'n.

Congratulations, milestones are to be celebrated as we are all on different paths, but we all have celebrated these miles stones. That is a great fish and looks healthy, may you have many more to come!

Real nice fish, you should be proud of it!

The best part of my personal best of 8-12 caught in Mildred years ago is that my seven or eight year old son netted it. I wore it down so junior can say he netted Dad's PB. Quite a memory, for sure.

Years before that I caught a 7-7 in Rock Slough that I'm pretty sure is a pure northern strain largemouth.

ok so now you have your 7lb taken care of. Go to Don Pedro Lake . Go to crap house cove , tie on a rof12 HUDD and head down the bank.Put your boat 10' off the bank tm on low and long cast in front of the boat. Till you have your 8
