This is Jack Dufour, 10-years-old, his first crappie and maiden voyage in a float tube! Fishing at Clear Lake, in California.

That's a good citizen in the making. Some of my fondest memories are of my 6 year old son and 8 year old daughter in the bass boat with me, rarely together at the same time. Fishing all morning until it got hot and taking a dip wearing life vests upside down, affectionately known as diapers, all the while bobbing in the water like a cork. Playing them nothing but blues music in the truck and on the CD player in the boat. They had no choice but to develop a liking for BB King, Bonnie Raitt, etc......Take your kids and/or neighbor kids fishing, it's an amazing experience.
