How to update software on Structure scan 3d

Ok, so the 'dealer' decided they would update all my lowrance software due to an issue I am having with my motoguide xi5. So they fired up each of my hds gen 3 units and updated it with the latest software. However When they did it, they did not bother to power up the structure scan 3d module. So it did not get updated. Every time i turn on each of my units. I get a message that the structure scan 3d software is out of date. So i downloaded the update and fired up the hds gen 3 with the card in it (and teh structure scan 3d powered on), but the update will not run automatically. I'm guessing because the unit does not see a new software version. But I don't know. What is the best way to update the software on my Structure scan 3d module so the error goes away? Is there a way to manually execute the software update?

BTW I am still having issues with my xi5 as well.

No, it will not auto update.

Turn ON Gen3 > Turn ON StructureScan 3D > put SD card into unit >
Go to files and highlight the SD card > select the SS3D update > select UPDATE
