Castaic Fished tough this weekend---

Tons of bait in the lake--
I fished shallow--- nothing---
i fished deeper -- to 20' nothing
i fished main lake points and cuts--- nothing
i fished secondary points and cuts.... nothing!

any suggestions...

i did catch a sweet tan!

Sounds like last Wednesday on Shasta.

I caught 6 on Saturday. I figured it out an hour before I had to leave.
I found that they were inside coves about 1/2 way in not on the small points but in the pockets before them in 15 to 20 ft.
They were clustered together. I was dropshotting with small worms.
Catch 1 and move 8 or 10 ft. and drop it down again, one of the group seemed to go for it.
Worked for me.
