Neko Rigging

Postby Big Stick 74 » Mon Oct 02, 2017 9:37 am

What is the best way to rig the Neko Rig what do you guys use? A regular O ring, the Wacky saddle or heat shrink? Thanks in advance.

I went from using the regular o-ring to using the wacky saddle because the normal o-ring would allow the to rotate and shad on the bottom. The wacky saddle keeps my hook inline with the bait and reduces snagging. Plus the saddle tends to keep softer plastics from folding over, it kinda adds a little spring back into the bait.

I use the o-rings and just use various sizes for different worms. Have been thinking of using some sort of tubing like you mentioned to make them last a little longer and so the worms don't fly off.
