Hi everyone-
Am I doing something wrong with my 867 -- I tried to throw a ~11oz bait and I felt like I was overloading the rod. It's rated to 16oz so I figured I'd be good up to 14oz when I bought it. Was the 908 more appropriate?
Im lob casting FYI...
Thanks,
-David
Dobyns 867 (10-11oz baits...?)
Re: Dobyns 867 (10-11oz baits...?)
Yeah, your gunna want the 908 for that. My 867 is perfect for those 6- 8 0z range bait, its THE rode for the 250 IMO. ID step up to a 908 for that.

I agree with Moleman...I own both of those sticks and absolutely love them but the 908 is the rod I'd use for baits in the 10-plus ounce weight category.
