2012 250 Optimax Pro XS For Sale
$3500 OBO.
Blown Piston. Engine to be sold "As Is". All other parts of engine in great condition.
Approximately 165 hrs.
If you are looking for parts, want to rebuild, or a lower unit this may be a great option for you.

So does it still run or crank over at least?

Yes, engine still runs and cranks over (Or at least it did immediately after the event happened on the water). It was pretty clear that something major happened when it blew and did not try to run it further and used the trolling engine to get back to ramp. That said, the engine does have a blown piston and needs a new head. This is confirmed by a certified Mercury mechanic. Admittedly, I am not an expert on engines although it is pretty clear when viewing.
