Calif Dept Water Resources Being Run by MWD Stooge

Interesting read concerned Delta persons.
Bottom line is the California Department of Water Resources, who station in life is to protect California Water for all California citizens new "Director" Karla Nemith has been on the payroll of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California from 2009, has earned over $900,000 in income and whose sole mission in life is to support the construction of the Delta Tunnels for the direct benefit of her former employer MWD. This is the appointee of Governor Brown to ramrod the Tunnels down our throats.

How long can these conflicts of interest and sleazy behavior be tolerated in this State ?

It is really frustrating to read how these folks can break the law and get away with it.

You gotta love Scary Brown and his pet projects like the Tunnels and Ace Train, just to name a couple.....

MWD is the last bastion of hope to get the project funded and built. The big Central Valley agency Westlands ran the cost numbers and wagged their collective heads (sideways back and forth not up and down) and pulled out. Santa Clara (or Santa Cruz?) was one of the other water districts expected to provide funding, don't know where they stand. Similar situation occurred in the sixties on the California Aqueduct project, Gov Brown (Moon Beam Dad) went to the mat numerous times with the MWD board trying to convince them it was needed. It's up to this board on the yea or nay. So maybe it's better that this lady is now at DWR and not MWD where she would actually have a voice AND vote that counts. Interesting that the big push was to provide water to drought stricken Central Valley. Westlands pull out silenced that. SoCal will now be the focus to justify the need for this project. I think it's going to be a tough sell. MWD will have to run the numbers just like Westlands did to see if its financially doable.
