Nathan Bettencourt, retired LEO and renowned bait maker, has a son, Nate, who is also in law enforcement.
His son was answering a call (to the wrong address, but the one given to his team) when he and two of his fellow officers were shot through a closed door.
One officer died, the other officer and Nathan's son were shot and hospitalized.
Nate was shot twice in his right arm, but he seems to be on the mend.
I'm sure Nathan would welcome good wishes, and here's his Facebook page:

His son Nate has a page, too:

We need more Issac Parkers on the bench. Maybe these slimes will think twice before their actions.
