Lower unit fix

Post by Kentuck »

Hit a rock pile and knocked a chunk off the fin on my lower unit. Have been told to take it to Phil's Props but that's a long way.
Anyone know any place in the East Bay than can fix this?

I would also have someone look at your seals and gears too. Hitting something that would break that off, may have caused more damage to the LU.

Kevin’s Prop Shop in Antioch. He fixed my skeg a couple of times and I’m sure he can fix that. Give him a call.

Ive gone over it is ok. It was actually cracked before that so it didn't take much to break it off.
