GRANITE BAY, Ca – The the 3rd annual Bass Pro Shops Open is quickly approaching and the opportunity for northern California anglers to catch BIG bedding females, late staging fish, and post spawners - has become even more rewarding, as the following bounty rewards are being offered for the event:
The 2 highest finishing teams that show proof of purchase of a River2Sea bait between April 25th and May 18th, will receive $250 Bass Pro Shops gift card!
The highest finishing team that owns a Tracker Marine boat - any model, any year, will win a $500 Bass Pro Shops gift card!
Remember, on the 2nd and final day, the field will be reduced to only ten teams, and that group of “Super Ten” finalists will drive from Folsom Lake to the Bass Pro Shops store in Rocklin, for a “B.A.S.S style” drive by weigh-in that will see an enormous crowd of spectators, (most of which who have never seen big bags of bass live) witness just what kind of fish can be caught at Folsom Lake.

Also remember...for those that live in the greater Sacramento area, this will be a great opportunity to fish in a close-to-home, high-profile event that is open to anglers of all skill levels, and features a very affordable $180 per team entry fee, a 1st place grand prize consisting of a new fully-rigged Bass Tracker 40th Anniversary Heritage Edition boat, plus cash spread out to the top 12 places!
In addition, it will receive TV coverage from KMAX (Good Day Sacramento), host a big BPS Outdoor World EXPO in the Bass Pro Shops parking lot on Sunday, with product demos, free giveaways, food, music, a big raffle for all spectators, PLUS a FREE “Kids Fun Zone” that will feature TWO fishing ponds – presented by The Informative Fisherman, and Mercury Marine.
