Powerlines Slow Sunday Jan 7
Baitfished with my brother at the powerlines below Rio Vista on Sunday, Jan 7, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in 30 ft water. Caught three shakers and one 20 inch keeper. All fish, except the last shaker, were taken on the outgoing tide. All fish taken on scented butterflied shad, zero fish on sardines. Even though the water was stained, we tried trolling for half an hour on the west bank across from Sherman Island with nada hits. Water temp was 46 degrees. Tough bite but a beautiful windless and calm day to be on the Delta.
