12-7 report

caught two 20 inchers on spoons in 36 feet of water in that cut that flows into franks with the palm tree....my gps says its dutch slough but i dont think its really dutch slough.....had a nice blowup on a the one on a middle river flat near mildred...caught a largemouth between 5-6 lbs at the end of the day on a trout pattern the one....almost dark....some sort of dredging operation at turner cut mouth on the san joaquin....had to be escorted over some pipeline.....operation is like a half mile long....3 dredges....water was 51-52.5 everywhere i was.....lots of birds....terns and seagulls at potato slough mouth and seals too...bring da spring

Nice to keep after them Slogin !

Tried around the lee sides of Roe/Ryer and the drop offs of the sandbar for 30-40 minuets on the way back before calling it a day for nada in the linesiders by 0900 in a top hooked Osprey on the outgoing tide after a good shoot for ducks.

Are soft swim baits working out there. What type of spoon were you using? kastmaster?

1 3/4 oz duh spoon in pearl white with a owner white/chartuese trailer...nothing on big hammer and fishtrap swimbaits for me....little voices are drawing me west....lauritzens in the morning
