This is supposed to be a fishing conversation not a mockery of how many posts lets count let's "NM" people get on here to learn and all of us are in competition to post WHY, Cmon lets keep it to fishing Im moody its past my bedtime but seriously isnt it getting a little kiddish

It went away before, after some idiot posted the alphabet one letter at a time.

The counter that was fun, was the how many hits on this post counter. Jig fishing got many hits, and if Cooch was on it, it doubled. Cooch would routinely beat me on hits if he got 200 I could only manage half that with my best effort. Content of posts was the key, the junkie stuff don't get hit on.

So it became a contest of good quality writing, experience, and content.

I am guilty of the Ridiculous.

The letter to Dr. Phil in the "Hammered" thread is priceless.

I am also guilty of sharing fishing tips, boat advice, and my product knowledge.

Again, I do not deny it does get ridiculous, but the laughter I had from those back and forth posts last night was like intense therapy. The stuff these guys post sometimes will make you laugh even when you have had the worst day.

The post counter is a great tool. When you see some post like "How do you feel about the poor bass you stick a hook in to" and see the poster has 1 or 2 posts, you know it's BS. We all just wanted to break in to the 1000 club. The next major milestone will be the 10,000 club. I predict it will be Ron C and Hollywood in 2009.

For some poor souls, this may be their only outlet. & if the counter is their kicks, well, it could be worse...at least they're not out cruising playgrounds.

You can usually tell by the title (& the poster...) if the post is a skipper or a hitter...

Also at anytime...... This pages Admistrators can reset anyones post count as well to what ever # they feel like typing it.

You are partially right some of us spend most of the day in a pressure cooker and are in an invironment where you cant or do not have the luxury of horse play or mocking someone...

You have a bunch of guys in one group and I do not care how professional they start out sooner or later one of then is gunna fart and then its on.....

99% of the time it is all in good fun....
