San Luis

Went to San Luis today. I trolled for a bunch of dinks and thought I would try something else so Iput on a fluke and started nailing larger fish near shore. I was marking some good schools in 15 ft. of water. Big fish was 12 lbs the rest ranged 4 to 9 lbs. Water temp 56 degrees and calm to light breeze. Man it feels good to pop them on those flukes Good luck out there ! Oh ya, stopped by forebay on way home for 1 hr and water is still murky. I wasnt able to find any schools dont waste your time the main lake is way better right now.

sounds llike you had a good day, when you use flukes, do you use any weight on them and do you let them sink to the bottom and jerk thim back? have not got into useing flukes yet.....

I'm thinking of going back out there this Saturday.

i am going tomorrow early and see what i can come home with, going to try the fluke lure....be near the dam but not to close.....
