Moses Lake, WA
A close friend of mine (since high school!) recently moved from Northern ID to Moses Lake, WA. Now that he has retired he wants to start fishing again. He lost all his gear to some thief long ago and never replaced anything. I sent him four rods from my collection ranging from spinning to Flippin an...

Re: Delta Water Project
So the tunnels have no benefit to the health of the Delta under normal conditions, they would only mitigate damage under extreme, catastrophic events? But I assume they would operate (carry some percentage of water that currently flows through the Delta) even under normal conditions. Wouldn't that s...

Re: Using a winch to part your rig.
I went to all the trouble of mounting a winch to the floor of my garage, I had a special yoke made to attach to the trailer so it would pull straight and everything. used it two or three times and decided it was too much trouble. I agree using a front mounted ball would be much easier and safer.

Perhaps I've missed something. It seems everyone here is convinced or knows for a fact that the hydrowave or these lures are actually effective. Every time I have read a discussion re: them the reviews are mixed about 50/50. I know KVD owns hydrowave and I'm pretty sure he has given one to every eli...

Re: Is there a rule against: Mechanical Devices to assist!
Not to be pedantic, but a chip is in no way mechanical. It is electronic. Mechanical might be something that physically grabbed a fish, or snapped shut on the jaw, etc. So to the degree that accurate terminology is important to rules or laws, the Livingston lures are clearly not in violation of any ...
castaic
I would avoid launching at castaic for a while. Main ramp was closed because of debris and west looked hideous. Bad for cooling system to even idle in that crap. Boats sitting on an inch or more of mud/twigs/junk caught between hull & trailer when pulling out. They should have closed that ramp t...

It would seem to me folks who are not on the list and probably never will be, have little room to say who should or shouldn't be on the list.
