Re: any S/S Prop repair close to Modesto/Manteca area?

I have to throw a shout out to Prop-"R"-Repair at Russo's marina, I was teaching my kid how to back the boat in and out of the water a couple weekends ago at San Pablo lake and when I was making the push up on the trailer he let off the brake a rolled backwards a little and pinned the skeg...

The Place is a little rough looking, It looks like they are trying to clean up but also seems like a lot of stuff is piling up at the same time, launched there a few times during duck season and didn't have any issues. Hopefully they clean it up and get it back into shape, it could be a nice place. ...

What's the "widow maker" on the delta? They are referring to large logs or stumps that are suspended just under the surface, when you hit them it is all bad, hence the term "Widow maker", typically this time of year and especially this year with the huge flushing rains everythin...

Also check all external parts on a regular basis no matter how new the boat is! Motor vibration, rough water and trailer time on the roads have a tendency to loosen things, a quick once over every few trips could have prevented this, luckily they were wearing their PFD's and kill switch attached.

If you fold your waders down in a float tube you will let water in since you will most likely be submerged from t...
