Nice Video. I caught a few fish in some of those places. Heck we first fished together all over that lake, and did darn well too... way back in the nutcase rally days there, huh? Was super low four months ago, but figured out the bite anyways. Ran north, but could not get close to getting up there ...

Re: jointed vs non's- Jerkbaits
Thanks Ash. I changed out my hooks. The Stunna runs nice, I took of the middle hook, as I usually do with larger lure w/ three hooks, no need as I'm not fishing tournaments. But the 112 (the only size it comes in I believe) was a bit large for these pressured lakes down in San Diego, went back to th...

Blame the almond farmers now where have I heard that before  Psssst. Mark, that's your cue. Oh, water? Ten gallons is used/needed by Newsome's 'buddies' ( ie rich farmers) for EACH almond, which they then sell to China. Trillions of almonds. 95% of water used in Calif. is for Almonds. ;/(

Hey, lost two lunkers on first jump each yesterday, whereas getting smaller ones landed does not seem to be a problem (3 and under). Heartbreak to see 5's and 6's get off with that headshake, I dread them coming up when I can tell they're large. You? Using about a 5", about 7' diver. Thinking a...

MY THMarine one just busted while fishing 50 mph winds at El Cap today, bummer. After searching and reading all this, went for the Viking Marine Ripcord. It's more now, what, 7 years later- some $24 thru Tackle Warehouse. You almost go overboard when they break 1/2 way up, glad I didn't.

Great stories. Once I drew him as a partner on a Clear Lake Nutcase rally. I showed up with a milk crate jammed full of baits. He took one look and said "What's all that?". "Some of my gear" I replied, not even having the large 'regular' tackle box still in the car... everything ...

Quite often they say 'moments ago', when they go to an angler that then catches one, I'm fine with it. In fact, I'm usually watching the recorded version anyway, don't have eight hours to sit and watch daily (we'll, I didn't, that's changed now).
