If you need Boat Insurance, call Ben Green Insurance. Ben goes above and beyond to service his clients. Guys, Thanks for the input. I ended up ordering a Dobyns Sierra 733C and paired it with a Daiwa Tatula Type R 6.3:1. I’m going to spool it with 15# Seaguar InvizX Fluorocarbon. Ordered the rod Saturday night and got it today (Amazon) and should get the reel Wednesday. The rod feels reel/real nice! ...

Have you tried contacting them?
I get weekly emails from them showing what they're spraying/pelleting, and where.
I signed up on their website.

Re: trailer ball hitch grease

Regular inspection and maintenance is the key.
I think just about any grease that won't drip off in the heat will work. You just have to keep an eye on it, and reapply when the ball begins to look bare.
In the past I've used vaseline, and also the same marine grease I lube my trailer fittings with.

Gents - ask them for their application and management plan. Then ask for results and water quality monitoring. If they do not provide, tell they you'll FOIA them. Ask for a supervisor. I've been working to compile data - to show that much of this program is lacking. Are they required to have those ...

Whats the name of that thick grass that is really bad/clogs up your trolling motor. Since the other weeds are being eliminated, the sun is really making these grow and spreading. I think keeping your soft plastic baits in their original plastic bags, and putting those bags in larger bags, or lager hard plastic containers, is the tip I'd give you. Take the time to measure your tackle compartments/lockers, and find some containers that fit them well. Square cornered, flat side...

DFG/DFW wildlife policies are set by elected/appointed politicians, not by the fisheries biologists.
All of the DFG/DFW biologists I've met have been fishermen, too. Their hands are tied by the politicians.

Slide the wire guard down until it catches the barb, and it'll only come off on a fish.

You can measure something at home, like the sidewalk in front of where you live, and then use that to strip off whatever amount of line you want to. You can even measure the distance from front to back on a boat, or front to back of a car/truck, and then use that to help you determine how much line ...
