Besides the private paid spraying there is also county and state spraying (3 different entities) They were still spraying last week The problem is no one regulates it There should not be any spraying during high water temps. There should not be any spraying when DO count is down. no reason to spray...

The only spring that could be on the face of a dam is it's springing a leak! The only way to fix this is lowering the water level below the leaking area, over 1/2 way down. Requiring a boating license, like a driver's license, before you can get boat insurance would go a long way toward reducing these accidents. Anyone should have a license before they operate a boat. Try rubbing the first foot of your braid with beeswax. It stiffens the braid without affecting either it's buoyancy or it's strength. That's an old fly fishing trick.

The pellet boat was in Sandmound today. They came down one side to the end of the last tulle island, and then back up the other side, spraying pellets. The two guys working the boat said they were treating for what I call elodea (hydrilla).
