Rod, I don't think I would worry about a bigger spool to keep your line manageable. Most of the 150 size reels still have a relatively big spool diameter. Flipping and pitching are short line techniques, and 30lb fluoro is going to be very durable, so you don't have to retie as often. I would concen...

Because I recently turned 20, I will have to get the card to drive a boat by next month. Anyone who thinks this will continue to just cost 10 dollars and won't be subject to more regulation in the future is wrong. Once you purchase the Navionics mobile App or mapping card then you will get all the sonarchart info and Updates..Also I haven't forgotten about your issue with your older Humminbird 99...

i also noticed a large die off of the Poplar trees along the East side of lil mandy - these trees are natures riparian holders. with the trees dieing off, i imagine the roots are no longer strongly holding the rip rap together. Look for some Gortex cross trainers. They will keep your feet dry, and as long as your feet are dry, and you wear wool socks, you'll be fine. Just make sure your rain suit covers the tops of the trainers.
