I blew up a box of Lucky craft baits. I kept the hooks but it was a serious blow to my wallet and some were Bass a thon and other special colors...They were in the locker but in Ojai when it's summer time there is no place to hide them except in the house and Mama sez that ain't happening. :wink:

Agree with that. I would put one on it. I put split rings on lots of things that didn't come with them IF it does not affect the action. I like having a wrist at the line tie which gives the knot some extra strength.

I have never had to go to the single hook. The crippled herring baits by Luhr Jensen com that way and I fish them like a kastmaster without problems. Why go to the single Hook? I have seen spoons with swivels such as you described Mark but I have shied away from them because if you read above I use line twist to my advantage.
