A lot more reel for the money is right.It weighs about 5 lbs! Take a look at the profile difference between the reels. Not to mention the warranty and service behind it, quantum has a lifetime warranty against failures in reels. I have yet to hear of a case where they didn't fix or replace a PT reel...
