Re: Ultrex

Good points!

I fished McClure four days last week and I was amazed how fast I drifted off the school while trying to drop on them. I would love to have poles and that new trolling motor but as you said funds are a factor! RR

Great question! I have wondered the same thing with my ten year old minnie 101. Seems like the minimum would be to rebuild it and a new brush kit to get some new life into an older motor in my case. I am sure the trolling motor guru's will have a better answer for you. RR

I think Joe is right on suggesting the Ranger RT188. You said You thought the aluminums were the same as glass in pricing once they are fully rigged. The ones I saw at a ranger dealership were super cool and seemed to be rigged with the equipment you are looking for. I think the future is in these b...

Thanks Mark! I have a F350 2004 BT cruiser 22 foot motorhome without the "Tow haul feature" and I will tell you I am always looking for it when going down hills from Tahoe ETC :) What a difference that tow haul feature makes. The motorhome is fairly small but after using the tow haul featu...

Just my opinion a bigger engine is better. I would strongly suggest a F250 with the tow haul option. I have a 2012 f250 and it has been a dream and I am not going through brake pads like I did with my F150. I tow a heavy sled Ranger Z21 and have been extremely happy with the F250. Re: Unprecedented Clear Lake Fish Die-Off: Dead fish islands about the size of three football fields.

I figured 22 a day and then looked up the last FLW event and 66 was first and second. I got lucky on that guess. The last event was in October 15th 2015 with a very different lake! Another prediction is that the lake will fish very small and it will be a shootout between Cody Meyer and Wayne Breazea...
