Running Ultrex out in west delta

Just picked up a used bassboat with a 2019 ultrex trolling motor. I've read that you should not run the ultrex in salt water, it voids the warranty. I often fish the west delta for stripers in the fall, mainly in the sherman lake area but may venture out as far as honker bay. Have any one of you guy...

I'm in the same situation as you, exactly. I opted to wait for the baits instead of getting a refund.
Recently asked for a refund as nothing was happening and was told to contact Ken directly, which I haven't done yet.

Let me know if you have any luck getting your baits or money back.

Clearance between trailer tire and fender - is this an issue?

I'm about to go on a 120 mile one-way trip to Clear Lake and in the garage, I noticed that the clearance between the trailer tire and fender is much closer on the starboard side than the port side. There is about an 1.5 inch more clearance on the port side. Both tires look to be wearing fine and I'v...

I recommend a Roadrunner type head in 1/16 to 1/8 oz with a small minnow imitation soft plastic or swimbait. Your boys will likely get a few bass here and there but get lots of bites from crappies. They would have a blast, plus you will be surprised that a big ole bass may eat that little bait. Brok...

Pirates Lair is closest to main SJ river but I almost always launch at B&W. Pirates is not only small, but very steep ramp, your vehicle is almost still on the top of the levee road as your boat heads toward the water at a sharp turn. Even more of a challenge with a bigger boat. Only time I use ...
