Re: Have not caught a fish in 15 months

There are a lot of fish in the Philippines but not by where we are. There is a people group that lives on the water and survives on fishing so the fishery has been wiped out. if you could get out 50 miles there are hugh tuna, marlin and grouper. Challenge is there are no boats around here that can g...

Re: Best driest and warmest boots

When I lived in Northern Illinois and worked outside in the rain and snow the best bet was Red Wing insulated. Good to -15 with one pair of wool socks. Nice and cozy. Not sure if I would go that route in a boat God forbid you should go over board. They might be a little heavy.

Re: DO NOT ship rods with UPS. Learn from my mistake.......

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. The squeaky wheel gets the grease, if you know what I mean. Be persistent. I fish a lot of out of state tournaments and always take all my stuff on the plane. Most airlines have a very great fishing allowance that must folks do not know about. Even the people that c...

Re: I found the answer to our problems!!!

From what I can tell a lot of the pricing of oil is done by Wall Street and oil speculation from our own people her in the states. They are making a lot more then the Big Oil companies or OPEC. If I can remember there is as much oil as there was 2 years ago, and the same amount of refineries yet the...

Re: BASS opens coming back to the west?

It would be great if BASS would come back to the west. I think FLW has done wonders for bass fishing with getting the big money involved. On the side of a co-angler I vote for BASS. Why you ask? Well FLW is all about selling Ranger boats, which is OK. But for a guy to fish in their Stren series the ...
