Bass Fed - Oroville this Sunday - Need Anglers Badly
I need a little help and hoping somebody can come to the rescue. As of now (at work, 8:00am Wednesday), I only have 12 anglers for my last tournament this weekend at Oroville...and worse...I'm two boats long making me have to coin toss 2 boaters (sucks). I need 3 more anglers to compete in the Orovi...

I was told the same thing. My boat was inspected and they had me put a sticker on the boat near the CF numbers that was good for a year.....kind of lame if you ask me.

Federation Oroville Dual - Recap
We had an awesome tournament Sunday at Lake Oroville, which was a "dual" between the Shasta and Sacramento Regions (tournament results are now posted on californiabass.org). Weather was nice, fish were biting, and most anglers had limits. Gary Collins entered both sides with full options, ...

I generally buy my tackle local unless I simply can't get it any other way. I don't doubt that spots and smallies "bite"....I've had worms come back bit in half tons...heck..I've almost had the fish in the boat and it wouldn't let go of the bait (hook forward of the mouth). But I sight fish smallies annually on a particular lake, and have watched their gills flare...

This may be obvious, but: 1) As was said before, don't startup and go tearing outta the marina, let your water cooled engine warm up sufficiently. 2) Make sure you do an "annual service". This includes minimally replacing the water pump impellor and lower unit gear oil. It just isn't worth...
